You may have noticed that the last Tangled Web newsletter was late.

Here’s my excuse.

Yep, I’ve written an entire article and recorded an entire podcast and an entire video just to explain why Tangled Web was late!

To be fair to myself, there’s a serious point here.

Sometimes it seems that nothing works on the web, whether it’s uploading an episode of Tangled Web or anything else.

It’s not just the incompetence of big tech. It’s a deeper issue with the complexity of the web. And – well, I can’t just let Google off the hook here – it’s an even deeper issue with the authoritarianism of big tech.
